Cornell and Jeannette Twitty both Army Veterans have been spiritual bound residents of Washington for a combined 30 years. As parents of 3 beautiful adult daughters and one son, Cornell and Jeannette have had the chance to understand the mistakes made throughout daily living decisions. Those experiences have led to establishing a place for second chances, now established as The House of Matthew Permanent & Supportive Housing.
During this time, they have both dedicated their time and service serving our Pierce County communities as Foster Parents of at-risk youth, veterans affairs at Tacoma’s local Veteran Hospital, and active members of the Tacoma Community College Foreign Exchange Program, hosting foreign exchange students attending Tacoma Community College to extend their education in the United States.
Cornell and Jeannette are happy to be apart of the nonprofit community as parents, established adult mentors, and residents. They look forward to making second chances happen, see barriers overcome and lives carry on successfully.
We extend the invitation to anyone or organization willing to learn more about our services at The House oF Matthews is seeking to offer the adults categorized as Homeless, re-entering into the society after confined amounts of time, within Pierce County.
